Mary Ellen Tomlinson is founder and Director of Senior Care Options Inc., an elder care consultancy and geriatric management company that specializes in advising and managing the care of seniors – for families, trust officers, investment advisors, lawyers and accountants. She is an author, educator and advocate on elder care, and elder care awareness issues and frequently speaks in board rooms, at community and non profit agencies events.
In her efforts to ensure seniors, their family’s and caregivers make safe, sound and satisfying elder care decisions, Mary Ellen is recognized as being the go to person in the Greater Toronto Area and for families living at a distance (including South America, Australia and USA), who feel safe and comfortable knowing Mary Ellen is working on behalf of their older family member’s wellbeing.
Mary Ellen has worked as a volunteer chairperson or spokes person with a number of non-profit groups, pastoral care, palliative care and health related organizations:Heart and Stroke Toronto, Eglinton St. George’s United Church and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre – Palliative care unit.
